What is a PLC? Programmable logic controller
A PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is a rugged industrial computer that controls machines. It is built to survive vibration, heat and electrical noise, and it runs at the heart of a production line.
How it differs from a relay panel
In classic relay logic you rewire to change a function. In a PLC, software does the same job: you add, remove or edit a rung. This makes commissioning and maintenance far faster.
