Start/Stop seal-in (latch) circuit

The Start/Stop circuit is a cornerstone of automation: it keeps a motor running after the button is released.

How it works

Pressing Start (NO) energizes the output coil. The output's own NO contact is wired parallel to Start. So even when the button is released, the rung "seals itself in" and the output stays on.
